Coil
Simple question: Who is your favorite band?
Some people have a difficult time answering this question. I do not. Coil is on the top of my list, so far beyond
even my second place band. For me, no one compares. No one even comes close. The breadth and scope of their
catalogue is astounding. Their "music" defies catagorization (in my iTunes library, they are the only band listed
as "unclassifiable"). Their vision is unsurpassed, they have no equal in my mind.

Music » Favorite Albums
Everyone has albums they could listen to a hundred times in a row and never get tired of hearing.
Albums you never skip a song on. Perfect 10's. These are some of mine.
Coil: Musick To PLay In The Dark - Volume 1
From Coil's "Moon Music" phase and probably the most appropriately
titled album in the history of music. It's my default album for
late night writing and coding.
Juno Reactor: Beyond The Infinite
Juno Reactor has a huge body of work, but Beyond The Infinite remains my favorite.
It was my default late night driving music for, well, all the late night driving I
used to do.
Rosetta Stone: Chemical Emissions
Easily the greatest Goth album ever created. Not only is it massive in length (71:22),
every song is brilliant. Probably my most favorite album of all time.
The Misfits: American Psycho
Yeah, yeah, I get crap about this one all the time. All the "purists" out there can suck it.
This album kept me sane during my brief stint living in L.A.
Gravity Kills: Perversion
By far the best of the three Gravity Kills albums. Every song here is great and it
contains one of my favorite songs of all time, Disintegrate.
Psykosonik: Unlearn
I originally bought this album by mistake. Turned out to be one of the greatest
mistakes I ever made. It is simply a masterpiece of Dream music.
The Faint: Danse Macabre
My good friend Andy introduced me to The Faint. If you've ever heard their music, you
know why this album is here. Difficult to describe, amazing to listen to.
Social Distortion: White Light White Heat White Trash
Another album responsible for my survival while living in L.A. After I was photographed for
New York Magazine, I was told I looked like Mike Ness. VICTORY!
Covenant: Sequencer
During my first DJ gig ever I played tracks from this album. That was the start of an amazing period
of time in my life, one I'll never forget. This album is outstanding.
That's enough for now. There's a lot more albums that belong here, I'll add them all as I get the time.
